How I came to this
My Mother enjoyed going to church, so before I was old enough for school I was in Sunday school. I threw tantrums when I wasn’t allowed to sit in the scantuary, and when I did it wasn’t unusual for parishoners to hear a little voice say “but that’s not what He said” in the midst of a sermon because sometimes I see history.
Claircognisance, plainly
I just know things, and I can’t explain how I do. I’m working harder to pick up on the random thoughts that come so casually, like during the last Olympics I watched the guy from Kazakhstan skate and as he left the ice I said “Ha! he’s going win the gold”. I’m a former skater, and I knew the math was highly improbable; I was right.
Over the last year and half I’ve been actively working to listen to my body more carefully, there is a “goose bump code” that seems to respond to yes/no questions. But, it’s a work in progress.
For the most part information arrives finished. Where I miss with it is when I try to get more.
Places, and what was still there
The church stuff, is weird enough that I feel uncomfortable sharing it – I have sat with it all my life asking “who would believe that story?” Only it really happened so… The “places” thing is also weird but in a different way and I wonder how often it’s happened and I didn’t realize I’m seeing things that aren’t here anymore.
School Field Trip
Walking by a space filled with prisoners and guards, before seeing the emptiness and decay. And, then hearing the voices in solitary… How does a 10 year old share that information?
Family Trip to Germany
Shocking the whole family with a guided tour including a preview of the view from a window that I couldn’t know. They were all as freaked out as I was. So “witnesses” yeah!
What I work with daily
I’m in the process of rebuilding a daily practice. In my early 20s I started learning tarot.
In 2005, I discovered the Thoth deck and was fascinated with the artwork by Lady Frieda Harris, it’s my usual deck now. Yes, yes, sex magic… this is why we don’t judge here. Follow your truth and allow others to do the same.
Around 2006, I became disconnected from Spirit and it wasn’t until I realized that I was going to have to work on a reconnection that I realized it had happened at all. At the start of the reconnection period I began pulling cards without reversals and that lasted almost two years (it’s okay to do what you need to do).
I’ve recently added a deck to my oracle deck collection, it’s an addition that resonates with my inner child. If you don’t have an oracle deck you love keep trying until one resonates with you and it’s okay if one never does, you’ll find clarity your own way.

What the Grove is for
